Most people think of a designer dog bed as the sort of thing that goes a little “out there,” where one dog might appear to sleep in the back seat of a luxury car while another would nap in a hammock held up by little palm trees. That sort of eccentricity in dog beds does exist in some cases, of course, while other custom dog beds spice things up by adding a bit of outrageous style to the basic design of the bed. But believe it or not, even eco-friendly or therapeutic beds fall into the “designer” category, because they go beyond the run of the mill.
One big favorite among designer dog bed creators is the kind of bed that suggests an air of wealth and fame, or mimics a kind of Euro chic. casino legali . So on one end of that particular designer spectrum you’ll find something like the faux leather, low-backed dog bed couch that says “high class Europe.” At the other end, which favors something that’s more “old Hollywood,” you’ll find dog beds that resemble a divan or “fainting couch,” with its curved back at one end of the couch and the single arm rest alongside it. These might be covered in faux velvet, or are often found in leopard or other animal prints.
Yet a designer bed for your dog isn’t necessarily a thing of luxury. There are many custom designs that focus on other things too. Various beds have a country flair to them, made to resemble four-poster beds or big, overstuffed chairs. Other designs are more eccentric, so you might wind up with your dog sleeping in a truck, a laundry basket or a tent.
And don’t forget that beds made of memory foam, which are more orthopedic than anything, are also thought of as designer beds since they add something special to the typical design.
A designer dog bed can have functionality as the determining factor in its special design, or its pattern can be a matter of sheer whimsy. You might prefer the sort of cool dog beds that feature feathers and velvet, simply so you can express a sense of luxury. Or you may be more interested in the responsibility implied by going with an ecologically friendly bed, made of recycled or all natural materials. The dog probably won’t care that much, but if you can find a designer bed that allows it to sleep comfortably but still lets you express yourself, then you’ll both be happy.
Dog beds come in a wide variety of styles, colors and sizes.
